The night falls in a heavy, suffocating cloak.
A thin gray shadow on the edge of thought.
Slender beams of moonlight enter
this darkened room as I sit, always in pain, lost,
frozen here.....waiting.
Angelic forms wrought in panes of glass loom
as dust dances in the air,
forming an image in my mind,
searing my exposed soul.
Tears on my face, I raise my head.
Crying out for this uncaring darkness.
